In the summertime of 2021, Hayoung Roh auditioned for the Knicks Metropolis Dancers on a whim—and made the minimize. After a 12 months with that crew, she transitioned to the Brooklynettes Dancers, the official dance crew for the Brooklyn Nets. She’s now in her second season dancing with Brooklynettes, and her first as co-captain.

“As a co-captain for the Brooklynettes, I attempt to each give myself grace and maintain myself accountable. On this position, it’s vital to develop one-on-one relationships with the dancers. I’m even taking a management teaching course, with a purpose to constantly present up as my finest self and assist lead this group of fantastic ladies.”

“Pursuing a BFA in dance at NYU’s Tisch College of the Arts challenged the methods I method dance.
