Philadelphia psych-folk duo and frontrunners for many “un-Googleable band title” @ (pronounced like “at”) have signed to 4AD for his or her sophomore album. Victoria Rose and Stone Filipczak will launch Autosmile on October 16 through the storied British label. As a lead single, they’ve shared the LP’s title monitor alongside a stripped-down efficiency video. Watch it beneath.
Rose and Filipczak initially self-released their debut full-length, 2021’s Thoughts Palace Music. Carpark Data reissued the album in 2023 and, the next yr, put out an EP by the duo, Are You There God? It’s Me, @. @ will help each YHWH Nailgun and That is Lorelei on their respective North American excursions this fall, then head to Europe in November for their very own run of headlining dates.
