The NYCTaper protection of the 2024 Deep within the Valley pageant continues with Jeffrey Alexander & The Heavy Lidders!
Jeffrey Alexander & The Heavy Lidders turned the primary group to play on the pageant twice, having appeared in yr one. For this set, the core 4 have been joined by Wednesday Knudsen (sax) and Ron Schneiderman (guitar), and John Moloney (percussion) recent off their set with Sunburned Hand of The Man. The septet configuration of the Lidders gave us a one-song set. One 45-minute model of the traditional psychedelic thoughts fuck, “Darkish Star.”
Phil Lesh as soon as stated, “Darkish Star is at all times enjoying someplace. All we do is faucet into it.” On today, Darkish Star was being performed in a area close to an apple Orchard in Crimson Hook NY and the Lidders completely tapped into it.
