Upstate New York metalcore outfit Battle From Inside kick off 2026 with the discharge of their new single, “Checkmate,” marking an thrilling new partnership with Arson Principle. Produced by Todd Golder of Sirens & Sailors, the monitor showcases the band’s aggressive precision, and dynamic songwriting.
“We’re extremely excited to work with a bunch of superior bands and homies over at Arson Principle,” the band shares. “It was a pleasure to work with a legend in our native scene for our subsequent single. Checkmate is only the start of 2026.”
With Todd Golder on the helm, the one captures each the uncooked vitality of Battle From Inside’s dwell presence and the refined fringe of their studio sound. As their first launch of the 12 months, “Checkmate” units the tone for what guarantees to be an energetic and impactful 2026, with extra new music and bulletins on the way in which.
Battle From Inside have been based in Upstate New York in early 2021. Their sound lands on the intersection of metalcore, hardcore, and beatdown. With deeply various influences starting from Bury Your Lifeless, Polaris, Evergreen Terrace, Emmure, Invent/Animate, Each Time I Die, and Attila, they’ve crafted their very own distinct sound.
In 2022, they started monitoring new music with Pablo Viveros of Chelsea Grin. They’ve taken the stage at many key festivals, from Sonic Temple to The Gathering of the Juggles to Inkcarceration. The band is headed into 2026 like a freight practice — all gasoline, no brakes.
