Wrapping up…and introductions! – Wolf Lure Opera

Mates, I’m fortunately ensconced in my workplace in Vienna Virginia, plotting all issues opera for the 2022 season. Let me inform you that the expertise was an ocean – so deep that I’m wishing I had twice the variety of initiatives to assign!

Additionally, let me congratulate each singer who put themselves on the market and sang. We respect the artistry every of you shared with us. Thanks.

I’m not within the place to speak in regards to the 2022 season but, however I do have information to share! I’m thrilled to introduce to you our two new group members!

 

Zoe Jansen, Coordinator, Firm Administration

Zoe joined the group in August 2021, and has hit the bottom operating! A former stage supervisor, Zoe transitioned to Arts Admin, and has labored for Piedmont Opera, the Princeton Pageant and The Metropolitan Opera. On the weekends yow will discover her attempting new eating places, shopping for too many vacation decorations for any upcoming vacation, and beginning new crafting initiatives each week. Her favourite opera is La bohéme. She grew up coming to Wolf Lure as a concertgoer, and appears ahead to serving to us launch our 2022 season.

Arianna Zukerman, Supervisor, Inventive Administration

Arianna joined the Wolf Lure Opera & Classical Programming group mere days in the past! She has an in depth performing background in each opera and chamber music. In latest seasons she has carried out with the Richmond Symphony, the Nationwide Philharmonic, and our colleagues at Opera Lafayette. She was nominated for a GRAMMY® award for the 2013 Naxos recording of James Whitbourn’s oratorio, Annelies, the primary main choral setting of The Diary of Anne Frank.

Arianna was born right into a musical household. Her father is violinist/violist/conductor Pinchas Zukerman; her mom is flutist, author and humanities broadcaster, Eugenia Zukerman; and her sister Natalia Zukerman is an completed singer/songwriter.

A previous recipient of the Sullivan Basis Award, Ms. Zukerman was a member of the Bavarian State Opera’s Junges Ensemble. She studied theatre at Brown College and obtained her Bachelor of Music from the Juilliard Faculty. She lives with within the DC space her husband and two daughters.

We’re thrilled to have Zoe and Arianna with us, and look ahead to introducing them to you – in particular person – at our 2022 performances!
