Music in the Museum: London Transport Museum's Transported by Culture: Music presents a weekly programme of music in the museum's gallery


Beginning immediately (14 February 2025) and working till 24 October 2025, the London Transport Museum’s Transported by Tradition: Music presents a weekly programme of music within the museum’s gallery at 2pm each Friday, aside from holidays. The younger musicians are from 4 London conservatoires: Guildhall Faculty of Music and Drama, Royal Academy of Music, Royal Faculty of Music, or Trinity Laban and the programme has been developed to equip younger classical and jazz musicians at first of their careers with real-world efficiency expertise.

The performers are as follows:

  • Uruguayan countertenor Agustín Pennino 
  • Harpist Aisha Palmer who has carried out with orchestras such because the London Symphony Orchestra and the Metropolis of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra
  • Mezzo-soprano Angelina Dorlin-Barlow who research on the Royal Faculty of Music was awarded Greatest Undergraduate Vocal Efficiency on the Brooks Van Der Pump English Tune Competitors 2021 and the Poppy Holden Prize for Vocal 2023
  • Caribbean-British oboist Anton Brown who’s finding out on the Royal Academy of Music and is the principal oboist of the Chineke! Junior Orchestra
  • London-based cellist Jayden Lamcellari who has earned high prizes in an array of worldwide competitions
  • Violinist Jordan Brooks from South Africa who’s finding out on the Royal Faculty of Music
  • The Juno Duo, a British-Ukrainian voice and guitar chamber ensemble shaped by Isabella Hulbert and Maryna Vosmirova, chosen as Younger Artists of the ‘Worldwide Guitar Basis’ for 2023-2024
  • Polish flautist Justyna Szynkarczyk, finding out on the Guildhall Faculty. She made her debut at BBC Radio 3 performing Maderna’s works as a part of The BBC SO Whole Immersion “Italian Radicals” live performance
  • Oskar Jones, a London-based musician who each jazz saxophone and classical piano from a younger age
  • Azerbaijani pianist, Vusala Babayeva finding out on the Guildhall Faculty with Alexandra Dariescu
