Commenting on the emotive monitor, Delilah says: “I wrote ‘Orange’ about my past love. Loving somebody but additionally understanding which you could’t exist in one another’s worlds is a painful realisation, and I attempted to place it right into a tune. ‘I used to be a chook, and also you have been a fish, we couldn’t breathe collectively like this.’ The tune can also be about reassuring the individual that regardless that you don’t ever discuss, you’re all the time considering of them with love and that they may all the time be with you all over the place you go.”

Taken from the singers upcoming EP ‘Chook’ – which is scheduled to drop Friday, June 14th – the brooding monitor sees Montagu crew up with producer Phil Simmonds (JP Cooper, New Hope Membership, Sam Tompkins) to create a fantastically melodic, mid-tempo pop ballad that speaks to anyone struggling to let go of a love they thought would final without end.

Created alongside director and artist Peter Cerrito (Kanye West), the singles accompanying music video sees Delilah efficiently seize the essence of the songs lyric, showcasing the “uncomfortable intimacy” of a breakup, in addition to the “feeling of freedom”.
