BAAND Collectively Dance Pageant Returns for Fifth Yr


5 of NYC’s most iconic dance corporations—Ballet Hispánico, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, American Ballet Theatre, New York Metropolis Ballet, and Dance Theatre of Harlem—reunite on one stage to have fun the fifth anniversary of the BAAND Collectively Dance Pageant, sharing the highlight and a stage for 5 performances from July 29-August 2 as a part of Lincoln Heart’s Summer season for the Metropolis. The Pageant started when the performing arts have been coming again after the peak of the pandemic in 2021 as a brand new type of collaboration in celebration of the return to stay efficiency.

American Ballet Theatre presents Susan Jaffe’s evocative Midnight Pas de Deux, capturing the intimacy of human connection. Lastly, Ballet Hispánico delivers Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s Home of Mad’moiselle, a daring and culturally wealthy work. BAAND Collectively Pageant’s numerous lineup celebrates the facility and great thing about dance by way of unparalleled artistry.
