Durand Jones & The Indications is an American up to date R&B and soul group based by the core songwriting trio of singer Durand Jones, singer/drummer Aaron Frazer, and guitarist Blake Rhein.

Blake Rhein and Aaron Frazer, two college students at Indiana College‘s Jacobs Faculty of Music, developed a musical relationship with Durand Jones within the early 2010s based mostly on their shared pursuits in songwriting and outdated soul 45s. Rhein had met Jones, a Louisiana native doing postgraduate research for classical saxophone, whereas each have been working with Indiana College’s Soul Revue. Rhein and Frazer would later convey within the two different members of their blues rock band Charlie Patton’s Battle, bassist Kyle Houpt and organist Justin Hubler, to type The Indications.

Shaped in 2012, the band got here to prominence as a part of the soul revivalist motion across the time of the reissue of their debut album in 2018. Their second album American Love Name was launched in March 2019, adopted by Non-public House in July 2021. Their fourth studio album, Flowers, was launched in 2025. The lead single, “Been So Lengthy”, was launched on March 18, 2025. In June 27,  Flowers was launched  through Useless Oceans in LP, CD and digital codecs. Flowers, preceded by the band’s 2021 undertaking, Non-public House, was self-produced and written by the band on the dwelling of guitarist Blake Rhein in Chicago.  Flower Moon is the fifth monitor on the the album
