The Duchess of Edinburgh reads a CBeebies Bedtime Story to mark World Sight Day


In honour of World Sight Day this Thursday (October tenth), Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Edinburgh is ready to learn the nation a particular CBeebies Bedtime Story.

Written by Irish-born, Bristol-based creator Yasmeen Ismail, ‘Specs for Rex’ is the story of somewhat lion who doesn’t wish to put on his new glasses to high school. He tries to cover them, but it surely’s tough hiding specs which are so large, spherical and crimson.

So, let’s keep in mind to deal with our eyes this World Sight Day.”
