She Dances, a heartfelt indie drama starring Steve Zahn and his daughter Audrey Zahn, was launched nationwide in theaters on March 27. The movie premiered on the 2025 Tribeca Competition, and is directed by Rick Gomez in his directorial debut, with a screenplay by Gomez and Steve Zahn. She Dances follows struggling father Jason (Steve Zahn) making an attempt to reconnect together with his teenage daughter Claire (performed by his real-life daughter), whereas serving as her chaperone throughout a high-stakes regional dance competitors within the southeast. As they take care of the high-pressure “dance mothers” world, aggressive teenage dancers and extra, the daddy and daughter duo bond as they face a previous household tragedy.
